With over 18 years of trading, our client, a Directly Authorised independent mortgage brokerage based in Wolverhampton, is looking to continue its growth and complement its successful team of Advisers by employing an ambitious Mortgage Broker.
The company is looking for someone with integrity and honesty who will stay for the long-term; it has a high employee retention rate with several members of the team having been there for a good number of years.
The company’s reputation has been built up through a top class, reliable and efficient service, and a large amount of its business comes through referrals and recommendations. It also works with a variety of introducers such as estate agents, solicitors and accountants.
Working with a strong supply of leads, you will ensure you understand your clients’ needs so that you can provide them with the best mortgage and protection advice. You will benefit from full admin support so you can really focus on giving advice and you will enjoy a Monday to Friday working week – with hours of your choosing - with no weekend work!
You will be CeMap qualified and have at least 2 years’ advising experience in either a ‘restricted’ or ‘whole of market’ environment. The company is keen to find a real ‘team player’ – not just an ‘out and out salesman.’ You will however need to understand and enjoy sales - to fit into the strong collective spirit.
This is a self-employed role with favourable, commission splits of 50/50 on business provided and 70/30 on self-generated business. On this basis, using just the leads provided you can expect an OTE of £50K but with clients of your own, or a desire to self-generate, you can expect to earn over £60K in the first year!
