Due to the recent expansion of its advice team, the subsequent establishment of a new office in the North East and its future growth plans, our client is seeking a Paraplanner in Richmond.

This business has established an enviable reputation for client service, having developed a comprehensive range of financial services solutions for its substantial base of high net worth, corporate and private clients. With offices throughout the North East, it has clients spread across a broad geographical spectrum.

The Paraplanning Team are responsible for the preparation and submission of advice pre-approval forms and preparation suitability reports from templates. This is based upon information received from Wealth Planning Advisers (Meeting Notes, Fact Finds, Risk Profiles etc). The main responsibilities of the role will involve preparing pre-approval documentation prior to writing reports, ensuring recommendations are researched and signed off by Compliance, Technical and the Investment Team where appropriate. You will utilise technology to produce accurate solutions for clients, carrying out product research and relevant financial calculations on behalf of Advisers.

You will have experience as a Paraplanner, ideally covering investments and pensions. Experience of 1st Software would be desirable, but this is by no means essential as full training will be provided. The role requires you to develop and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, colleagues and providers, therefore you must be an effective communicator and be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent organisational and time management skills. Ideally, you will already hold QCF Level 4 qualifications, or at least have a willingness to work towards this.

In return, you will benefit from a competitive basic salary and annual bonus, as well as a comprehensive range of benefits to include significant pension contribution and critical illness cover. You will also be given an annual cash value to spend on a range of flexible benefits, at your discretion. You will also enjoy financial support in gaining further qualifications.
