My client, a small but very productive financial planning firm based in the City, is looking to recruit a Financial Administrator to support its Advisor Team.

This company is an Independent Financial Planning business and its trusted expertise, personal service and proactive approach enables it to provide the individual attention its clients deserve. This company deal with complex financial planning needs for its high net worth clients, whether that be families, individuals or businesses.

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Financial Advisors, assisting in the maintenance and development of client relationships. You will ensure that accurate, up to date and compliant client records are kept on the in-house system. A big part of the role will be supporting the Advisors in research, analysis, preparing client financial plans and suitability reports. You will get involved with writing client reports, reviewing client valuations and preparing client review packs. You will be required to take part in general administration tasks that come up as and when necessary.

Experience of working in a Financial Admin role is essential, however, candidates with small amounts of experience will be considered. It would be beneficial if you have experience of report writing, however, full training will be given. You will be highly organised, methodical and have the ability to deliver excellent customer service, being a great team player and be able to cope with a fast-paced environment and varied workload. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
