The company is looking to identify hungry and driven insurance professionals that are looking to work in an exciting, fast-paced, yet nurturing environment.
You will build strong and profitable relationships with your panel of brokers in the region to negotiate and secure the acquisition of new business, which will encompass Property, Liability and Motor risks. Based on what you can win from your client base, you will have the opportunity to deal with an array of cases up to and over six-figure premium spends, with plenty of support on offer technically. You’ll be expected to prospect from your clients (both over the phone and face to face), to identify the pipeline they have and quote for cases that fit the underwriting strategy.
As you would expect in a new business environment, it is essential that you are charismatic, proactive and driven to succeed. It is also pivotal to the acceptance of your application that you can demonstrate a proven track record of achieving targets. You will have experience within commercial insurance, ideally as an Underwriter, however individuals with the aforementioned behavioural skills from a broking background will also be considered.
