Due to organic growth, the need has arisen for an additional Account Handler/ Insurance Broker to join the friendly and supportive team. Here, depending on your skills, experiences and ambitions, you could be handling either commercial or agricultural risks, or a combination of the two. Due to the varied portfolio held by this broker, you could assume control of SME business (sub £5K GWP) or more corporate accounts with premium spends in excess of six figures.
It is essential that you have an understanding of commercial insurance, ideally previously handling more complex business, but we do welcome applications from those candidates who have dealt with SME commercial or smaller agricultural business. You must also be well organised, a team player and a confident communicator.
This firm is well known for promoting from within, so this role will appeal to the ambitious. Equally, it realises that not all Handlers/ Brokers want to become Account Executives.
