Our client, a rapidly expanding specialist Pension Transfer Bureau, is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner/ Technical Specialist to take ownership of the whole Annual Review Process.

The business was founded several years ago and has established an enviable reputation for client service, having established an exclusive relationship with one of the largest IFA networks in the country. Due to its in-house technical expertise and outstanding client service, it is seeing a huge rise in demand for its services, with its reputation and subsequent work inflows growing far quicker than expected and now stretching its existing team to the limit.

The business has identified a need to invest in and improves its review process. As Annual Review Manager, you will be required to take ownership of the complete end-to-end review process internally, determining best practice and managing the project to streamline workflows in order to cope with the exceptionally high demand for this service. This role will hold CF30 so you will also be tasked with conducting some reviews, though this is secondary to the project management element of the role. Some traditional paraplanning duties will also be required, predominantly for those review cases that fall outside your own case load.

You must be a highly motivated self-starter, with the tenacity and resilience to be able to make an impact. In light of the CF30 requirements, it is essential that you are Diploma qualified. Our client requires individuals with strong relationship building skills, with ‘personality being more crucial than past performance’, not being afraid to challenge the status quo. Clearly an in-depth knowledge of the investment review process is critical, whilst previous paraplanning experience would be advantageous. More generally, strong working knowledge of investment products is essential, with experience of transfer cases being desirable.
