As a result of ongoing growth, this highly successful Mortgage and Protection network has an exciting opening for a Business Development Manager BDM in Leicester.
Working from the company’s head office in a telephone-based role, you will deal with an allocated number of the network’s Appointed Representatives (ARs), with a view to increasing the amount of overall income generated. You will promote the products and propositions of the mortgage lenders and insurance companies, as well as third-party support providers.
A large part of your role will be to increase the amount of Protection business written by Mortgage Advisers within your panel. In order to achieve this, you will conduct fact-finds in order to identify where more business can be written, and where appropriate, you will recommend that they refer their Protection cases over to an In-House Protection Adviser.
You must have a proven track record within a sales role, with first class relationship building skills. You will be a consultative seller, who can identify opportunities and clearly demonstrate the benefits of products and services to others. It is essential that you have an understanding of Life Insurance products and how they are sold. As such, specific experience within the Protection market, as well as holding any relevant qualifications, would certainly be advantageous.
