My client, a first-class professional Independent Financial Planning firm, is looking to expand its growing team with the appointment of an experienced Financial Planner.

This business’s main focus is its clients, providing a valued, honest and long-term service. It treats its customers fairly and provides a superior service to ensure all its clients’ needs are fulfilled. It is a fully independent, whole of market company that is striving to be the best financial planning firm in the region.

You will provide expert financial advice to existing clients. There are lots of new business opportunities, for example you will ‘get on board’ with the Accountancy side of the business, where leads are flooding through for you to service. You will research the marketplace and recommend the best products and services that best meet your clients’ requirements.

It would be preferred if you have a transferable client bank, however, this company provides great support with leads, so this is not essential. You will be a lead generator/ convertor who is hungry for new business, and you will want to ‘get out there’ and build your business. It is important that you are a motivated individual with excellent technical knowledge. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be looking to enhance your career within the financial services industry.

This is a self-employed role and you will be rewarded with competitive splits and a great working environment. All support is provided in this role; it has an exceptional team of in-house Administrators, Paraplanners and Compliance Officers. This company offers a retirement package, where if you retire from its business there is a fee payable for your client bank. Some home-based working is encouraged, however, you will need to visit the office a couple of times a week for things such as support and meeting your team members. For the short-term, you must be prepared to work from the office, which will enable you to fully understand the proposition and company.
