A very reputable and well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an Account Handler to join its highly qualified and experienced team in the Greater Manchester area.
Established over 40 years ago, our client has expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. It is now a leading provider of insurance and risk management services.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be dealing with a variety of risks including Liability, Motor Fleet, Property and Financial Lines with premium spends typically up to £100K+. You’ll be working on a diverse client portfolio as businesses will range from one-man bands through to larger, more corporate firms. You will assist the Directors and Account Executives with the day to day management of their client portfolios, which will include negotiating with Underwriters, providing administrative support, processing mid-term adjustments, and handling general customer enquiries.
It is essential that you have previously worked within a commercial broking position, and are au fait with all common commercial covers. You will be tasked with ensuring that clients receive an outstanding service to ensure that their business is retained. As such, it is important that you are confident, professional and able to work under your own initiative. Ideally, you will have experience of using the Acturis software platform. Progress made towards CII qualifications will add significant weight to your application, however this is not essential.
