Due to its continued organic growth, a highly reputable wealth management practice is looking to further enhance its Support Team with the appointment of an Operations Manager in Leamington Spa.

Established over 10 years, it has developed a strong presence and enviable reputation in the Midlands. It is enjoying a period of sustained growth and success, and is in the process of expanding its business through acquisition, which will ultimately result in higher volumes of clients, and therefore increased administrative responsibilities. Consequently, an Operations Manager is required to knit everything together and oversee workflow/ processes.

Working closely with the Management Team, you will take responsibility for operational oversight of the business, ensuring smooth running of the office on a day to day basis. More specifically your duties will include line management of the support function, essentially a team of Paraplanners and Administrators, to include staff reviews, as well as compliance oversight whilst working with the Network to implement rules and procedures. There will also be project management responsibility for a data migration project, though this will have a limited life-span. Other duties will include recruitment and ensuring best practice across all functions of the business.
It is essential that you have gained previous experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably within the IFA market. You will be expected to develop your working knowledge of financial planning products and understanding of the advice cycle, therefore you must possess a real thirst for knowledge and desire to learn. Whilst it is not essential that you hold any qualifications currently, you must be committed to continuous professional development.
