Due to its continued organic growth, a highly reputable wealth management practice is looking to further enhance its Technical Support Team with the appointment of a Trainee Paraplanner in Leamington Spa.

Established over 10 years, it has developed a strong presence and enviable reputation in the Midlands. It is enjoying a period of sustained growth and success, and is in the process of expanding its business through acquisition, which will ultimately result in higher volumes of clients, and therefore increased administrative responsibilities. Consequently, a Trainee Paraplanner is urgently required.

Working closely with the Consultant and Paraplanner, operating as a team throughout the advice process, you will ensure a first class client service is delivered. More specifically, under the guidance and supervision of experienced colleagues, you will conduct research on products, providers and funds, providing supporting suitability letters for the Consultant, developing your report writing skills over time. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, as well as managing relevant databases and systems. You must maintain up to date product knowledge in order to ensure reports are technically accurate and compliance standards are adhered to.

It is essential that you have gained previous experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably within the IFA market. You will be expected to quickly develop your working knowledge of financial planning products and understanding of the advice cycle, therefore you must possess a real thirst for knowledge and desire to learn. Whilst you are not expected to hold any qualifications currently, you must be willing to commit to obtaining the Diploma in Financial Planning.

In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary, and an attractive benefits package, as well as enjoying flexible working hours. In addition, you will be actively encouraged and supported in your professional development, with study materials and exams being paid for.
