This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join a highly reputable and award-winning independent mortgage broking firm based in Bristol.

This directly authorised company has a proud history of providing bespoke mortgage and protection solutions throughout the South West and surrounding regions. Being highly-connected and with many introducers, the firm has an enviable client bank and many repeat customers.

This business is expanding and is looking to add a further experienced Mortgage Adviser to its Bristol office, which opened earlier this year and is performing extremely well.

You will enjoy working on major high street, which benefits from a very busy footfall and lots of enquires. You will also benefit from full admin support, which will allow you to do what you do best; giving sound mortgage and protection advice.

Whilst the company has strong connections and a growing number of enquiries, we are still looking for someone who is keen to proactively build new relationships in the local area. Having said that, this is a long-term investment hire and you will not be subjected to punitive sales targets.

Refreshingly, this firm has traditional values and you will enjoy the benefits of a truly independent business, which is free from some of the bureaucracy that can be found in the larger corporates.

It is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) and that you have previous experience within a mortgage advising role. Whilst independent broking experience would certainly be advantageous, we do welcome applications from proactive mortgage professionals coming from restricted / tied environments such as banks and building societies.

The working hours are principally 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, however, if you really want to fully exploit your earning potential and generate an annual income of circa £70K - £100K like some of the other Advisers in the company, then you will need to be more flexible with your time. There are certainly no expectations to work crazy hours, however, you really will ‘get out what you put in’ with this role and the sky is the limit in terms of earning potential.

An attractive employed position (salary up to £30K depending on experience), with a generous commission scheme is available, or alternatively, there is a self-employed proposition with attractive commission splits. The average case size within the company is circa £2,000 which will allow you to earn substantial income.
