Our Bristol based client is a well-respected, ‘family feel’ firm, which has built itself a strong reputation over the last 11 years through offering a premium service. The company prides itself on treating its staff like “grown ups” and has built a team of “really nice people” with the ethos that “happy Advisors are better advisors!” It is now looking for an experienced, driven Mortgage Adviser to come on board and help push the firm to new heights.
The Director explains that, “Everything is geared towards the Advisor”. The company enjoy leads from a variety of sources including Estate Agencies, the New Build sector and Housing Associations, as well as other Mortgage Brokerages referring specialist business.
You will enjoy traditional office hours (9 - 5.30 Monday to Friday), dealing with clients principally over the telephone. As an ambitious Advisor, you will naturally be prepared to work around your clients.
You will, of course, be fully CeMap qualified (or equivalent) and have at least a year of experience giving advice in a ‘whole of market’ or restricted environment. You will be able to show a history of writing quality, compliant Mortgage and Protection business and equally, you will exhibit a desire to surpass your previous track record.
As an employed Advisor you can expect a base salary of around £25K, although salaries of up to £30K are available for exceptional candidates. In addition to this, based on a lucrative commission structure, you can look forward to a 1ST year OTE of between £40K - £50K, brokers within the team are earning more than £70K! The Director says that “even an inexperienced Advisor having an average year” can expect a minimum of £40K!
