A prestigious wealth management business in Liverpool seeks a talented and ambitious Mortgage Adviser to join its team.
This company is led by an impressive entrepreneur who is well-known in the local business community. A formidable networker, they have forged strong relationships in lucrative sectors such as the medical industry and with major sports personalities.
Up until now, mortgage enquiries have been outsourced to a third party firm, however, given the amount of quality leads coming into the business on a weekly basis, the company has decided to employ a dedicated Mortgage Advisor in-house.
You will handle the Mortgage and Protection requirements for a wide range of clients, many of whom have been referred by existing customers. You’ll enjoy dealing with some very affluent clientele who will in turn generate some healthy proc fees and life insurance commissions.
Whilst you will enjoy a healthy supply of incoming leads, the proprietor of this firm will encourage you to replicate their proactive approach in the market. For example, they are a fan of attending networking events, public speaking and forming affiliations with associations and trade bodies, and they are looking for someone who is keen to get involved with this too. The MD cites that they are “doing things differently”, which seems to be playing a major part in their success.
You must be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), with a professional approach and a genuine passion for building relationships. Our client is open to candidates from an independent broking or restricted/ tied background, who truly buy into their refreshing approach to doing business. Comprehensive training is available, both via the major mortgage network they are a member of, as well as by the MD who is a qualified Mortgage Broker.
This is a self-employed position with competitive commission splits, and you will be given financial assistance in the first few months until you are banking regular commissions.
