Our Chelmsford based client is a well-respected, ‘family feel’ firm, which has built itself a strong reputation over the last 11 years through offering a premium service with a thorough, holistic approach to mortgage advice.
The company prides itself on treating its staff like “grown-ups” and helping them with their professional development with the ethos that “we’re here to do business, but we can have fun while we do it!” It is now looking for an experienced and driven Mortgage Adviser to come on board and help push the firm to new heights.
The company works on “referrals only” and enjoy leads from a variety of introducers such as Estate Agents. As such, the firm benefits from much faster, more efficient business. It also benefits from being involved in a number of networking groups; as an outgoing, enthusiastic Advisor you will benefit from the growth of your client bank as a result of attending these.
You will enjoy a strictly Monday to Friday week (the Director doesn’t work weekends and doesn’t see why anyone should!), dealing with clients both over the phone and face to face. As an ambitious Advisor, you will naturally be prepared to work around your clients.
You will, of course, be fully CeMap qualified (or equivalent) and have at least a year of experience giving advice in a ‘whole of market’ or restricted environment. You will be able to show a history of writing quality, compliant Mortgage and Protection business and equally, you will exhibit a desire to surpass your previous track record.
As an employed Advisor you can expect a base salary of between £25K to £30K dependent on experience and track record. In addition to this, based on a strong commission structure, you can look forward to a 1ST year OTE of between £40K - £50K!
