This Mortgage Administrator role exists within a growing, award-winning mortgage brokerage based in the City of London. You will have the opportunity to really make a difference and the option further down the line to train to become a Mortgage Advisor if you so desire!

This long-established company enjoys a very strong reputation in the local market and works principally in the niche field of Affordable Housing and Shared Ownership, where it partners with over 50 housing associations. The company prides itself on not being corporate, enjoying a ‘family feel’, with an open, friendly and supportive team.

The company is keen to really enable and help its team, and for ambitious candidates who have been with the company for a year or so, is willing to support them through to becoming an Advisor.

As Administrator, you will enjoy a varied role, where duties will include, but not be limited to, uploading documents to lenders’ websites, liaising with lenders to make sure that offers are issued in reasonable timescales, and chasing solicitors. You will also be in regular contact with clients to update them of progress throughout the mortgage lifecycle.

This is a fast-paced role, and therefore you must be able to work towards tight deadlines, whilst multi-tasking. Just as importantly, you will possess good attention to detail and a professional telephone manner. You must have at least 12 months’ previous mortgage administration experience in a ‘whole of market’ environment. You will also have experience of submitting mortgage and protection applications and ideally experience with compliance and producing suitability letters.

You will enjoy working traditional hours (Monday to Friday), in a very friendly and supportive working environment. As such, you must be highly personable and a good team player, who enjoys producing a really high standard of work.

You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary of up to £30K dependent on experience.

If you’re ready to make the next move in your career and join a flourishing, growing firm who are really going in the right direction, then get in touch!
