Due to its continued rapid growth, a highly reputable regional wealth management practice, is looking to further enhance its Support Team with the appointment of an Operations Manager in the North East.
This business has experienced rapid growth in recent years, it has developed a strong regional presence and enviable reputation throughout the length of the country. It is enjoying a period of sustained growth and success, and is in the process of expanding its business through yet more acquisitions, which will ultimately result in increasingly high volumes of clients, and therefore increased administrative responsibilities. Consequently, a Paraplanning & Administration Manager is required to knit everything together and oversee workflow/ processes across a Large support Team.
Working closely with the Management Team, you will take responsibility for operational oversight and management of the support function within the business, ensuring smooth running of the team on a day to day basis. More specifically your duties will include line management of a team of Paraplanners and Admin Team Leaders, with second line management of Administrators, to include delegation of workloads, staff reviews, 1:1s and generally ensuring the team delivers an exceptional service to stakeholders and clients. Other duties will include recruitment and ensuring best practice across adviser support operations.
It is essential that you have gained previous experience within the Financial Services industry, preferably within the IFA market, ideally having performed the admin and/ or paraplanning roles previously. It is preferred that you already hold Level 4 qualifications and have previous experience of Adviser Office, though neither are considered deal breakers. You will be expected to develop your working knowledge of financial planning products and understanding of the advice cycle, therefore you must possess a real thirst for knowledge and desire to learn.
