Working within a small, friendly and approachable team, you will handle the full broking/ re-broking process for your allocated portfolio of commercial clients. You will provide day to day administrative support, which will include conducting extensive marketing exercises, negotiating and securing renewals, processing policy endorsements, and handing general client enquiries.
You will enjoy handling a variety of commercial risks including Property, Liability, Motor Fleet and Goods in Transit, across a diverse range of businesses and will have an adaptable communicative style with the ability to tailor your style according to whom you’re talking to.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of the main classes of commercial insurance, together with a strong level of market awareness. You must be well-organised, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce accurate work whilst working under pressure.
This broker is happy to consider commercially-experienced candidates from both broking and underwriting backgrounds if the pre-requisite client service and relationship management skills can be demonstrated.
