My client is looking for a Paraplanner/ Technical Consultant to work within its busy London office. You will support the Financial Advisors in the provision of first class financial planning solutions for private clients, delivering outstanding service from start to finish.

You will manage a diverse workload comprising various duties and responsibilities. These include but are not limited to preparing for and attending client meetings, gathering and analysing detailed information from clients, preparing lifetime cash flow models relevant to clients’ circumstances, communicating these models to the client in person, producing financial plans and clear advice, carrying out reviews and dealing with complex queries.
You will have experience working in the independent space, within a role that requires regular direct contact with clients. Ideally you will be working towards Chartered Financial Planner status, though my client will consider applications from Level 4 qualified candidates, with excellent technical knowledge. It is essential you have detailed knowledge of investment, life and pension products and you will ideally have experience of Voyant cashflow software. It is beneficial if you have broad knowledge of esoteric products, including VCT and EIS, and structured products, having a comprehensive understanding of Income Tax, CGT, IHT, Trusts and both DC/ DB pension transfers.
