My client, a successful independent financial planning firm, is looking to recruit an experienced IFA Administrator/ Paraplanner to join its ‘absolutely amazing’ team based in Oxford.
Established over 15 years ago, my clients’ vision is to create a personal financial planning service to its clients to enable prosperity, growth and guidance tailored to their financial needs.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Financial Advisors as well as holding a variety of responsibilities traditionally associated with paraplanning – such as drafting and writing financial planning reports and letters of suitability, ensuring this is done in a compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements. You will liase with product providers and relevant third parties, being responsible for processing all new business and servicing queries. You will ensure that client contact lists are maintained and be responsible for preparing documents and presentations, including agendas and minutes of meetings.
Previous experience of working within an IFA practice is vital for this opportunity, as is a good general understanding of Financial Services as a whole. You will have working knowledge of the IFA space, including an understanding of pensions, investments etc. It is important that you have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. As you will be working within a close-knit team, my client is seeking a ‘bubbly’ personality that will fit in seamlessly.
