As a result of growth, a need has arisen for a home-based Mortgage Adviser to service the needs of new build customers.
All your appointments will be booked for you by a Client Services Team who will already have completed a Decision in Principle (DIP) for the customer. Effectively, your job will be to visit them in their homes to ‘sign them up’ and sell associated Protection and Insurance covers. Following your appointment, all admin will be completed by a specialist team at Head Office. The mortgage advising process does not get more efficient than this!
You will conduct between 4 - 6 mortgage appointments per week, which will typically be within an hour’s drive of your house.
It is essential that you have previous experience of selling Mortgage and Protection products and that you currently have Competent Adviser Status (CAS). You must also be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), with an excellent compliance record. Advisers will be considered from an independent broking or restricted / tied environment.
Refreshingly, you’ll be pleased to hear that there is no weekend working (apart from the occasional new build site launch), but you must be prepared to do some evening appointments.
Most Mortgage Advisers in the company are earning in the region of £50K, with the top Advisers, who are very ‘appointment hungry’ earning £70K+.
