Due to strong organic growth, our client, a highly reputable and award winning Chartered Financial Planning practice, is looking to further enhance its Support Team with the appointment of a Client Support Administrator to ‘hit the ground running’ in its Altrincham office.

Based in the North West, the firm has a series of regional offices in key locations across the UK, allowing it national coverage. It works with both private clients and corporations, and helps take control of their finances and plan for a secure future.

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the firm’s Financial Consultants in relation to valuations, transfer of servicing and client reviews, to allow Consultants to conduct efficient client meetings. You will deliver an effective new business processing service for Consultants, liaising with product providers and ensuring that new business is set up correctly. Providing an effective link between the client and the Consultant, you will make sure that both are kept up to date with all matters relating to their financial affairs. You will ensure that all client information is stored on the relevant system and is updated accurately and timely, checking that all compliance requirements are met. Other day to day tasks include issuing original policy documents to clients where appropriate and checking that copy documents and contract notes are issued within the agreed timescale, as well as preparing invoices for work completed for clients.

You will have experience of working in an Administrative role within an IFA practice, with good all round product knowledge. Ideally you will have experience of processing new business, producing valuations and organising fund switches. It would be desirable if you hold any certificates in financial services/ planning and have intermediate skills in using Intelligent Office.
