There cannot be many firms generating more column inches in the insurance press than this leading InsurTech. Its senior team comprises some of the biggest names in the industry, including rising stars of the tech world, alongside seasoned veterans of insurance, and serial investors with demonstrable track records of successfully launching start-ups across multiple markets.

This InsurTech is financially secure; it is trading successfully, boasts a number of exciting partnerships, and needs no further rounds of funding for the foreseeable. It is also a Coverholder at Lloyd’s and has been pledged additional capacity by one the UK’s best-known MGA’s.

Initially majoring on mainstream Household and specialist covers (such as ‘Anti-Gazumping insurance’ or Home Buyers’ Protection), this firm is set to launch an exciting new range of personal lines covers in the near future. It uses cutting-edge technology to provide competitive quotes with comprehensive cover levels in a matter of minutes. With sophisticated artificial intelligence in play, it does away with the reems of questions favoured by competing websites and generates a quote within 2 minutes.

Working from your home office, you will assume control of a large (pre-agreed) territory and be responsible for the distribution strategy for your region. This will include developing a panel of brokers, insurance organisations and other financial services intermediaries who will promote this InsurTech’s service to their clientele. Here, you will effectively create a white label offering, using your clients’ branding but with this InsurTech’s systems.

It is essential that you have a solid background in insurance, gained in either a personal lines or commercial environment, and we welcome applications from those with exposure to broking, underwriting or other areas of the insurance industry. This will include either an extensive professional network of senior personnel from within the insurance industry, or a demonstrable track record of establishing new relationships with insurers and brokers. Whilst you need not be from an InsurTech background, you must have an interest in technology and be confident in your ability to promote the features and benefits of this offering. This should include being able to secure ‘buy in’ from the management teams of firms of all sizes, including technophobes and technophiles alike!

Whilst you will have the support of the Board and be invited to spend time with the Head Office Team in London, as you will be working remotely, you must be well-organised with excellent territory management skills. You should have a genuine passion for insurance, and pride yourself on keeping up to date with developments in the market.
Recognising that you are a ‘company ambassador’, you will be of smart appearance, articulate, confident, and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

In return, you will receive a completely negotiable basic salary plus a performance-related bonus and car allowance.
