Due to strong organic growth, our client, a highly reputable City based Wealth Manager, is looking to strengthen its Support Team with the appointment of an experienced, career minded Chartered Paraplanner.

Our client is very highly regarded within the City, having established a large and loyal client bank over the past 15 years. Encompassing an array of expertise through a highly successful team of Wealth Managers, it has also been accredited with Chartered Financial Planner status.

You will be an integral part of the advice process, with the main purpose of the role being to provide technical and administrative support to the firm’s Financial Consultants. You will conduct research on products, providers and funds in line with company policy, providing supporting suitability reports for Consultants. You will also write product recommendations for presentation to clients, whilst also completing portfolio reviews and rebalancing requests. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, as well as maintaining relevant databases and ensuring records are accurate and up to date with client and portfolio details.

Due to the nature of the business, and in particular the predominantly high net worth clientele you will be dealing with, it is essential that you are a vastly experienced Paraplanner qualified to Chartered standard. In addition, you must be technically minded and have a strong understanding of a wide range of pension and investment products, as well as having a good general knowledge of the financial market. Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload are paramount, as is the ability to manage relationships and expectations at all levels.

To reflect the seniority of the role, our client is offering a very generous salary. It also boasts a comprehensive range of benefits including non-contributory pension. The company invests heavily in its staff, and is renowned for promoting from within. It also offers excellent training and development opportunities with financial support towards obtaining further professional qualifications. It is also a family run business that doesn’t necessarily conform to standard corporate structures, instead operating a flexible and friendly working environment.
