This passionately independent broker continues to rebuff approaches from the aggressive aggregators in order to return the loyalty and commitment shown to them by their longstanding clientele and to remain true to the values and foundations that their successful business has been built upon.
In this role, you will inherit a varied portfolio of loyal commercial clients, catering for all their needs to ensure the continued renewal of their business. It is anticipated that this will take up half of your capacity and therefore there is an expectation that you will use your relationship management skills to identify account growth opportunities and referrals from within your client portfolio. Attractively, our client can also provide the highly successful services of its lead generation and appointment-setting team to equip you with warm, qualified leads to approach and convert too. Notwithstanding all of the assistance provided to you, it would also be of huge benefit if you brought your own ideas and thoughts about developing new business using your own network and sphere of influence.
It is essential that you are an established Account Executive, or a proactive, client-facing Account Handler, seeking a challenging role with a fast-paced, growing broker. You will also have a comprehensive technical understanding of UK commercial products underpinned by excellent communication skills to be able to confidently converse with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. The ability to strike the right balance between being successful with new business, and maintaining strong credibility with existing clients, will be of paramount importance.
