Due to further increase in new business, our client, an award-winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners, is seeking a Technical Consultant to support its Adviser Team in Altrincham, eventually progressing to a financial planning role.
The firm has a series of regional offices in key locations across the UK, allowing it national coverage. Having been one of the first few hundred firms in the UK to be awarded the status of Chartered Practice, our client places paramount importance on qualifications, with all staff encouraged and supported towards individual Chartered status.
The main purpose of this role is to provide technical support and back up to the Chartered Financial Consultant, including providing analysis, detailed research of funds and providers. You will assist the Consultants in meetings, so your role will be partly client facing and you will have exposure to report writing. You will deal with client queries and ensure that you are complying with compliance regulations and requirements. A key part of the role will be writing reports and providing product recommendations for presentation to clients.
It is beneficial if you are diploma qualified, however you will be considered if you are working towards this qualification. You will have relevant experience, within a whole of market background and have the ambition to develop yourself with the desire to work towards Chartered Status. As you will be dealing with clients on a day to day basis, it is important that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with others.
