Working primarily on Property claims, you’ll be allocated a client portfolio and will be responsible for handling all losses from first advice to conclusion, offering an exceptional claims service to your clients throughout the life-cycle of each claim.
With some claims, you will be working within a delegated handling authority and will therefore have full responsibility for the whole process to include checking policy coverage, approving substantiation and expediting settlement, when appropriate. For the remainder of your workload, you will regularly liaise with clients, insurers and loss adjusters to ensure that each claim progresses as efficiently as possible. Naturally, you’ll maintain an efficient and effective diary system too.
With a passion for client service and a thirst for knowledge, you’ll ideally have a minimum of 2 years claims experience and will be able to demonstrate an impressive level of academic achievement. Additionally, with a wealth of support from your new employer, you’ll be driven to embark upon professional qualifications, attaining Cert CII as a minimum.
