You will also benefit from the support of a dedicated Account Handler, and given the size of its account and scale of its dealings with insurers, can command highly competitive deals.

Whilst the MD welcomes applications from insurance professionals at all levels, it is essential that you have some exposure to relevant Financial Lines covers such as Professional Indemnity, Cyber and D&O. You must be highly articulate, an excellent communicator, and comfortable building rapport with senior personnel from across the Professions, such as Solicitors, IFA’s and the like. You must also be comfortable networking including, in time, helping to host networking events and seminars.
The MD is quite relaxed about the remuneration on offer, suggesting a salary in the mid to late twenty thousands for a Handler making their first foray into Exec’ing, through to mid fifty thousands for a more seasoned Account Executive, or anywhere in between, depending on experience!
