You’ll be working closely with Sales Negotiators, who are highly committed to the successful partnership of this well-established financial services partnership.
Working in a busy branch, you’ll offer Mortgage and Protection advice to a wide range of clientele. Typically, this will be done face to face in branch, although there may be some telephone-based advice too. You’ll have access to the whole of market, as well as a dedicated Administration team, who will allow you to focus on doing what you do best – giving specialist mortgage advice. Given the properties in the local area, you’ll enjoy dealing with some large loan sizes.
You’ll possess first-class communication skills, with a passion for building and developing relationships. Just as importantly, you’ll be focussed on quality and “doing things properly”, with a strong compliance record. As expected, you’ll be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent). Whilst you will be given many leads from the estate agency, you must be proactive in your approach and flexible with your time. This is not a business that gets involved with micro-management, and as such, you will be given the autonomy to do what you do best. However, as a Mortgage Adviser, you will understand that you need to ‘put in the hours’ and be available for your clients when they need to talk.
Independent mortgage broking experience would certainly add weight to your application, however, we welcome applications from proactive and self-motivated Mortgage Advisers from tied environments, such as banks or building societies.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £30K plus a rewarding commission structure. We understand that Advisers in this business are earning a minimum of £50K, and some earning a great deal more than this.
