An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of the UK’s premier independent insurance broking organisations for an experienced commercial insurance professional to join its specialist account management team.
Based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, this Chartered and highly respected broker continues to grow as a result of its commitment to providing the highest level of client service, and the technical proficiency of its staff. Being such a fine and caring employer, the company enjoys a very low staff turnover, with some of its employees having worked there for over 25 years.
You will be responsible for the whole broking process including securing renewals, handling mid-term adjustments, providing quotations and dealing with client enquiries from the commercial policy holders. With regards to the specific quotations aspect of this role, you’ll be in regular liaison with the appropriate insurers, but will also be able to use the online quote engine facilities too. Experience of using the Acturis software would therefore be beneficial although not a necessity for IT savvy individuals.
You must have previous experience of working within the commercial insurance sector (ideally from a broking background), with good working knowledge of combined/ packaged covers. In addition, you will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work to strict deadlines, and the skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse client base.
