This is a terrific opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator AND / OR Mortgage Adviser to work for a very well-respected and traditional mortgage brokerage based in Leeds.

This firm enjoys a very loyal client base as a result of its focus on customer service and ‘putting the client first’ at all times.

This is a very successful but small ‘one person business’, where you will be working closely with the MD to service Mortgage & Protection requirements.

You will enjoy working with an extremely friendly and knowledgeable individual who will provide you with a refreshing working environment and all sorts of ‘perks’ that you will struggle to find within a corporate firm, such as flexibility with hours, involvement with ad hoc project work, and a role that can be tailored to suit your specific experience and aspirations.

In this varied role, duties will include but by no means be limited to, collecting and sorting client documents, completing fact-finds, inputting cases onto the CRM system, and liaising with lenders, solicitors and clients throughout the process. You will be the first point of contact for answering calls, as well as completing general office admin, diary management, social media updates and insurance applications.

The MD requires someone who specifically has previous experience within mortgage administration, from a brokerage, bank or building society. Holding the CeMap qualification would certainly be advantageous, although this is by no means necessary. If you are currently an Adviser and wish to continue advising clients, you will be welcome to do so, although again, this is by no means an essential part of your role.

You must have strong communication skills and be well-organised. Just as importantly, you must be able to work independently as there will be times when the MD is out of the office and you will be working alone.

Depending on experience and whether or not you are capable of advising clients, you will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary ranging between £18K - £35K plus company pension.

This really is a lovely role for a Mortgage Administrator AND / OR Adviser looking for a traditional, ‘no nonsense’ role with heightened levels of autonomy than in most firms.
