An outstanding opportunity has arisen within this renowned global broker for an ,ideally, immediately available Claims Specialist to join its highly successful Global Claims team which is part of its broking centre of excellence based in superb offices in Chelmsford City Centre.
As a Claims Specialist here you’ll be responsible for management of the notification, agreement, collection and successful settlement of your allocated portfolio of property and casualty claims emanating from a variety of territories including North America.
On a daily basis your wide and varied role will include taking ownership of the first notification of loss, triage and issuing appropriate local instructions for your claims.
Additionally you’ll negotiate with markets, update clients, manage reserves and report on their movements. Working within an organisation of this size and stature you’ll also have regular interdepartmental liaison with other network offices, senior claims management and the broking teams. Externally you’ll be in regular contact with clients, underwriters and appointed experts.
If you can demonstrate liability and/or property claims handling experience, preferably gained from within a London Market environment, then we invite you to apply without delay. Any North American claims handling experience would be most advantageous too.
