A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a claims professional to join the in-house Risk Management and Claims function of a leading transport based organisation, with head offices in Fareham. This organisation is the 2nd largest in the UK in its specialist field and has impressive plans to grow even further, both organically and via acquisition, thus creating excellent career development potential.
As a Claims and Risk Administrator here, your wide and varied role will be critical in minimising outlays for a wide variety of claims made against our client and its fleet of vehicles. Responsible for taking first notification of loss from the company’s drivers or the third party, you’ll be able to use your skills and experience to assess liability on all incoming claims, taking proactive decisions to progress fault claims expediently, minimising hire and repair costs at all times.
To enable you to investigate accident circumstances and make reasoned liability assessments, you’ll be an adept communicator and listener when gathering information from the drivers. You’ll also have the facility to review and assess on-board CCTV footage and make sound judgements.
On the Risk side, your role will include many different projects centred on accident reduction including driver profiling, analysing claims data, identifying trends and concerns, as well as generally developing and implementing improved risk management processes with the assistance of Insurers.
This hire is absolutely critical to our client and previous motor claims experience is key, but equally important is a proactive approach, an analytical mindset and advanced communication skills. You’ll take ownership of your role and its function and will take great pride in becoming a company ambassador.
