My client, a market leader in independent retail financial advice is looking for a competent and technical minded Paraplanner to join its expanding team based in Huddersfield.
This business shapes everything it does around delivering the best outcomes for both its private and corporate clients. Its Advisers focus on its client’s financial needs and aspirations and recommend the best possible way forward to achieve their requirements.
As a Paraplanner your role will be to provide practical and technical support to a small number of its Advisers across investments, pensions and protection. You will deliver client reports and process new business on a wide range of platforms and providers. A big part of the role will involve compiling and preparing comparison materials, including selectapension, cost analysis, cash flow models and investment fund analysis. It is important that you work proactively with Advisers to determine clients’ needs and ensure that their outcomes remain paramount.
Paraplanning experience isn’t necessarily essential, however, it is a requirement that you have at least one years’ experience in retail financial services, specifically in investments and pensions. If you are an experienced Paraplanner, this will obviously add weight to your application, even more so if you are Level 4 Diploma qualified. It is essential that you are qualified to at least CII Certificate level, any 2 Diploma level qualifications or equivalent. Development is key to my client so you will therefore have the desire and be committed to achieving Diploma qualification, ideally within the first 18 months.
