This market-leading player strives to offer a ‘best in class’ approach and is focused on fully exploiting business opportunities with its broker partners.
Your role will be to deal with referral cases from brokers that fall outside the scheme parameters. However, you will also be reviewing the schemes on an ongoing basis to ensure that they are running profitably. Should you notice any flaws in a scheme or anything that could be improved upon, you will provide the appropriate remedy to ensure the terms/ rates are in line to become profitable. On occasion, you will be required to attend broker meetings to build relationships and trust.
It is essential that you have technical experience within cross-class commercial insurance products, in either broking or underwriting, and it is preferred that you also have a particular strength in a certain area. This is not a ‘trading’ role, therefore it is not essential that you have a strong sales background, although you must be comfortable in dealing with brokers. You will also possess excellent communication skills to work with both internal and external stakeholders comfortably.
