Our client, a highly reputable and award winning local IFA practice, is looking to strengthen its existing team due to a sustained period of organic growth, with the addition of a Financial Administrator to join a highly motivated team of individuals.

Having established the business over 15 years ago, the Managing Director has taken it from strength to strength, developing an excellent client proposition with an enviable reputation in the local market. Due to recent growth within the business, it is looking to bolster the team with the addition of an experienced Financial Administrator.

This role will be divided into three days per week within the finance department and two days per week administration work, which will be directed by the Practice Manager. Within the finance department you will be involved in budget forecasting, maintaining records, day to day banking, invoicing and controlling and maintaining aged debtors. You will oversee and complete month end reconciliation via Xplan, working alongside Jacana, preparing payroll and maintaining and updating sage with reference to profit and loss. The administration side of the role will be to assist the Practice Manager with the collation of management information via Xplan and general duties such as controling and ordering of stationery. The duties for this role are very varied and you will be working within a busy, fast-paced environment.

Relevant financial experience is essential, ideally within Accountancy, book keeping, banking or financial services commission reconciliation. You will have a bright, bubbly personality to enable you to fit into the team easily and be able to ‘hit the ground running’. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised and pro-active with the ability to multi-task. You will be numerate and have strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail. Working knowledge of Sage is essential for this position and knowledge of Xplan would be desirable, however, training will be provided.

You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary which is dependent on experience, as well as an annual discretionary bonus scheme. Whilst this scheme is not guaranteed, successive bonuses have been paid and have been a generous amount! You will enjoy a good holiday allowance, which will increase with continual service.
