Based in Colchester, this insurance broker provides an outstanding service to the local business community and also operates in some highly specialist and niche markets, servicing and attracting clients from all over the UK and beyond.
As a Commercial Account Handler, your role will be crucial to the continued success of the department and continued client loyalty and retention. You’ll provide a pivotal support role to the Account Executives and will be responsible for the whole broking process including securing renewals, handling mid-term adjustments, providing quotations and dealing with client enquiries from the commercial policyholders.
You must have previous experience of working within the commercial insurance sector (ideally from a broking background), with good working knowledge of Commercial Combined/ Package covers. In addition, you will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work to strict deadlines, and the skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse client base. Additionally, you’ll be able to demonstrate a strong record of academic success and, if not achieved already, a desire to study professionally with the aim to become Cert CII qualified as a minimum.
