One of the UK’s fastest growing insurance brands is looking to appoint two Insurance Advisers on an initial 6-month contract, due to an internal project. This entrepreneurial business has representation in over 45 locations UK-wide, and has a reputation for acquiring some of the best talent in the market to ensure its continued success.
Working in the Gloucester based call centre, you will contact customers who have had a quotation online, with a view to converting this into a live insurance policy. You will also speak with existing policyholders who have cover due to expire, with the aim of securing the renewal of their cover. You’ll be monitored around the conversion of clients going on cover, as well as those existing clients that you retain. Compliance is a major part of this business, so you will ensure that you are treating customers fairly and following protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in Telesales, dealing with either inbound or outbound calls. Any experience within the insurance or financial services industry would be advantageous, although this is by no means essential. You must be a really clear communicator to ensure that prospective clients fully understand their insurance cover, as well as being a strong negotiator in order to convert new business enquiries.
In return, you will receive a generous salary, plus a performance-related bonus. Due to the growth of the business, this 6-month contract may either be extended, or permanent roles may arise during your tenure. Whilst in this role, should you prove your worth, you will certainly be in pole position to take advantage of any opportunities that arise.
