A prolific Development / Bridging Finance brokerage in London has a terrific opportunity for a Loan Validator / Trainee Commercial Mortgage Brokers to join its thriving team.

Working in close conjunction with highly experienced Commercial Mortgage Brokers, you will qualify incoming enquiries regarding development, bridging and short-term loans. You will assess clients’ circumstances and requirements to determine whether or not the company can assist, and if so, you will then pass on suitable enquiries to the Brokers. Dealing with affluent property developer clients, you will be the first point of contact that they have with this company, and as such, you must have the ability to converse effectively with high net worth clientele.
You will be well-organised, with strong fact-finding skills and a highly professional telephone manner. Preference will of course be given to those candidates with previous experience within related finance / mortgage roles, although our client is flexible on experience. Perhaps you have worked in an estate agency, or as a Mortgage and/ or protection qualifier. Importantly, you must be driven to succeed and hungry to make money, identifying and acting quickly on lucrative enquiries in order to ensure that they convert successfully.
We are particularly interested in candidates who would like to ultimately become a Commercial Mortgage Broker within the business, which will involve broking loans for a diverse range of clientele. This process usually takes between 6 – 12 months, depending on ability. In fact, there could not be a more appealing opportunity to work alongside, and learn from some of London’s most accomplished Development Finance Brokers. Some of the top Consultants within this business are writing in the region of £1M per annum and personally earning over £300K. If you display the above qualities, this is all for the taking.

You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary of circa £30K, dependent on experience, plus a lucrative commission structure with a genuine OTE of £50K. Although you’ll need to be flexible with your time to a degree, you can expect to work fairly traditional hours (Mon-Fri) in an office that is situated in a very pleasant part of the City.
