As a result of ongoing growth, a highly respected independent mortgage brokerage based in Leeds has an opportunity for a Senior Mortgage Administrator / Paraplanner.
This firm is well-known for its first-class client service and as a result, enjoys a loyal client base and many referrals and recommendations.
Working closely with the Director, you will handle Mortgage and Protection cases for a diverse range of clientele within the Yorkshire region. Duties will include, but certainly not be limited to, submitting applications to lenders, verifying documentation such as wage slips and bank statements, chasing lenders, solicitors and clients, and keeping customers fully updated throughout the mortgage process. The MD of this firm is looking for someone who, from a technical point of view, can hit the ground running - someone who they can effectively pass their work onto, once the enquiry has been received from the client.
Ideally, you will have previous experience within a similar Mortgage Administrator/ Paraplanner role. Those candidates from an independent broking background, with extensive lender criteria knowledge, would certainly be preferred. In fact, this role could be perfect for an experienced Mortgage Adviser who is looking for less pressure and more sociable working hours.
As expected, you must be well-organised, compliant and have strong customer service skills. Holding the CeMAP qualification would certainly be advantageous, although this is not essential.
