A prestigious Mortgage & Protection brokerage seeks an experienced Mortgage Adviser to cover a patch encompassing Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
This well-established firm is partnered with a particular area of the Public Services, from which it generates a great deal of Mortgage & Protection enquiries.
Working from a home-base, you will take pre-qualified leads, whereby you will be presented with a detailed write-up of the enquiry prior to your appointment with the client. Typically, you will spend half of your week on the road, and half of your week at home. You will also benefit from mortgage clinics, which have a great success rate of generating healthy levels of business. You will be the sole Mortgage Advisor within this patch, which means you will have a great deal of business to target.
Working from the whole of the market, as well as benefiting from bespoke and exclusive products, you will be able to cater for a diverse range of requirements. You will enjoy a great deal of flexibility and autonomy in relation to how you go about achieving your targets, although given the nature of this industry, some evening appointments will be required.
It is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and that you have experience within an independent broking environment. Just as importantly, and to gain credibility from this target market, you will be highly professional, well-presented and very much focused on the compliant selling of mortgage and protection products. Whilst a lot of the business will be supplied to you, our client is also seeking someone who is going to be keen to generate some of their own business by way of self-promotion within local offices, as well as pursuing referrals and recommendations.
