Due to organic growth, my client, a reputable and long standing Accountancy and Financial Services organisation, is looking to enhance its Support Team with the appointment of a Senior Paraplanner/ Paraplanner Manager.
Our client is very highly regarded within the Yorkshire market, having established a large and loyal client bank. Encompassing an array of expertise through a highly successful team of Financial Advisors, it has also been accredited with Chartered Financial Planner status.
In this position you will head up the paraplanning function and form part of the day to day management team within this Chartered Financial Planning Practice. You will be supporting the Directors with their workload, who have a very well established client base of high net worth individuals. It will be your responsibility to manage the existing paraplanning function, ensuring, among other things, that reviews are completed in a timely and compliant manner. As well as the managerial duties you will write suitability reports across pensions, investments, protection, VCT’s and IHT, as well as cash flow modelling.
You must be technically minded with a keen eye for detail. In addition, you must also possess a strong understanding of pension and investment products, as well as having a good general knowledge of the financial market. It is also essential that you hold the Level 4 Diploma qualification and ideally you will be Chartered, or close to achieving this. Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload are paramount, as is the ability to manage relationships and expectations at all levels.
