Our client is a Chartered Broker that is looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join its vibrant and fun team in Leeds city centre.
This insurance business has built trust with its insurance partners to such a point that its staff can write business on the insurer’s behalf, allowing them to make instant decisions on any insurance risks, including ‘hard to place’ business.
Working within a supportive and friendly environment, you’ll provide assistance to the team of Account Executives (AE’s) with the management of their clients. The AE’s will entrust you to handle day-to-day queries relating to new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals. You will build strong and long-lasting relationships with the insurer panel, so that any queries that need to be referred are dealt with swiftly and with the best possible outcome for the client. The product offering is varied, however includes Property, Liability, Combined, Motor Fleet, PI etc, and these will be from SME cases through to clients paying fees in excess of £10K.
It is essential that you have some experience of the commercial insurance market, ideally from a broking environment, however exceptional candidates from other areas may be considered. It’s preferred that you have some experience in handling risks over £10K income, although this is not vital to your successful application. One of the most important things for our client is to ensure the right ‘personality fit’ joins the team. The environment is hardworking, yet enjoyable, so you will be someone that gets on with others easily and doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
