This small, yet highly respected regional insurance broking organisation has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced insurance broking professional to join its Hertfordshire based office.
You’ll be joining a small, friendly and welcoming commercial insurance team where you will be providing dedicated account handling and administration support to the Director who is responsible for new business development and customer retention. Using your previous insurance experience and knowledge, you’ll quickly become involved in a variety of tasks that include preparing and inviting renewals, processing mid-term adjustments, liaising with insurers and internal colleagues, and updating a variety of spreadsheets using your first-class data entry skills.
With the majority of the commercial clientele being SME accounts, whose proprietors are Personal Lines clients too, it is imperative that you can demonstrate superb communication and relationship management skills. Outstanding client service is part of this broker’s DNA, and you will be a true advocate of this at all times.
In an ideal world, our client seeks an individual with proven experience gained from within the commercial insurance sector and knowledge of the OPEN GI system but refreshingly, they are open to considering IT savvy candidates with alternative insurance backgrounds that are keen to gain exposure to the commercial sector.
