This globally-recognised insurer has a rare and exciting role for an experienced claims professional, with knowledge across all product lines, to join in a governance based role with the aim to deliver a more controlled, effective and efficient delegated claims handling service.

Using your technical claims background and relationship management skills, gained from working with key internal stakeholders and external TPAs and suppliers, you’ll assist in the development and delivery of a framework of controls, with a view to continually improve the processes and protocols within the claims risk environment.

Whilst you won’t be personally responsible for your own caseload of technical claims , you will be able to demonstrate previous claims handling expertise, and will understand the key principles and factors of claims handling excellence.

In this role, you will become responsible for managing the onboarding operations for all new delegated claims handling suppliers. Your involvement will be from the initial due-diligence, agreeing SLAs and KPIs, through to audit and ultimately reviewing, renewing or closing delegated claims handling agreements when appropriate.

Working collaboratively with senior internal colleagues in the Claims Leadership and Outsourced Service Delivery teams, you will be an accomplished brand ambassador and will take great pride in delivering work to the highest possible standard at all times. In addition to your claims experience and expertise, you’ll be a confident communicator, negotiator and influencer, with proven audit and reporting skills too.
