This UK based group of Insurance organisations continues to grow, expand and develop at rapid rates and in order to support and sustain this growth it now has a brand new, immediate requirement for a Group Performance and Pricing Manager within its specialist Delegated Authority team.
Working from a home base but with regular weekly reports into both its East Anglian and City based offices, you will ideally be able to demonstrate proven technical insurance understanding across all the main wheels based and commercial classes of insurance and will be able to manage business at a portfolio level.
You’ll understand all the associated mechanisms for calculating loss ratios attaching to the group’s business mix and will be able to suggest and model pricing and underwriting changes to maximise income for the group and profitability to the insurance carriers.
Reporting into the Group Head of Schemes and Delegated Authority ,and working from a carte-blanche landscape, your varied role will include the design and implementation of a performance management system to understand each scheme’s loss ratios and conversion rates. You’ll also be comfortable designing and building triangulation and pricing models that can help the group track loss ratios and demonstrate the impact of change. Additionally you will take responsibility for all the associated suites of management information and will have the assistance and report in from of a colleague to make sure that all MI is accurate and timely.
This role has an obvious technical slant but to complement your technical skills you will be comfortable working collaboratively with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
