Our client is a leading UK MGA, with a strong presence throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, it now has an opportunity for an experienced Property Claims Handler in its Manchester office.
Joining an existing team of specialist Claims Handlers, you will manage a portfolio of Commercial Property and HNW claims handling them from first intimation to successful conclusion. Throughout the lifecycle you’ll maintain continual client contact offering technical advice where required, chase Loss Adjusters and other experts for necessary updates, and ensure that your clients are given realistic timescales for each step of the process. Whilst training is on offer, it is your responsibility to strive for continuous professional development, keeping abreast of industry changes, market publications and legislation. As the business has continuous growth plans throughout the next few years, this is an excellent time to join the team as the role will offer genuine scope to progress.
It is essential that you have a genuine passion for claims handling, and pride yourself on achieving the best possible settlement on behalf of your clients within the policy terms. As such, you must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be able to manage claims in a fair and expeditious manner. As well as keeping the client abreast of their claims progress, you will be expected to assist with claims reviews, providing your expert opinion on the best course of action to resolve claims.
It is essential that you have demonstrable experience of working in a “decision making” Property claims role handling claims on a desktop basis for a Broker, Insurer, TPA or Loss Adjuster.
