As an Existing Business Underwriter, you will work with your panel of brokers that are based UK-Wide, ensuring that you keep retention levels within acceptable levels through building trust with your clients. You will deal with Property and Casualty risks, handling premiums of up to £100K. In addition, you will identify any cross-selling opportunities for other areas of the business. You will be set up with a home office to ensure that you’re fully capable of focusing on providing the best possible service to your panel.
Our client is only considering an experienced professional from the commercial insurance underwriting market. It is essential that you have a solid background in Property/ Casualty products. My client is looking for someone that has the ability to focus and produce good quality work from home, who also has the personality to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
