In line with its compliance and regulatory framework, our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to contribute to the risk and compliance culture within the business.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, ensuring that the business is compliant with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and internal polices, and providing advisory support to business departments. You will give advice on new product offerings and marketing initiatives, as well as developing and maintaining a Compliance Monitoring Plan. You will also carry out audits, maintain an effective risk framework, and investigate risk issues, breaches, and suspicious activity reports.

You must have previous experience in a Compliance role within the financial services sector (ideally encompassing Mortgage & / OR Protection products). You must also have a good working knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations, in particular the ICOB, MCOB, and DISP sourcebooks, as well as experience in writing and reviewing compliance processes and procedures. As expected, you must have a strong moral compass and an ethical approach, coupled with good organisation skills and the ability to multi-task.
