Aston Charles are delighted to have been engaged by this leading UK insurance broker to help it source the services of several high calibre Account Handlers to work alongside and assist some of the region’s highest performing Account Executives.
It seeks experienced commercial insurance broking professionals with outstanding administration, organisation and relationship management skills to provide a concierge level broking service to a loyal, varied and highly valued commercial client bank.
As a Commercial Account Handler in this outstanding broking organisation, you will be the first port of call for your allocation of c50clients’ insurance queries and questions. You’ll also be in regular contact with the wide variety of markets and insurers with which your client’s insurance covers are placed. With a lot of daily interaction, it is essential that you can demonstrate eloquent and confident communication and relationship management skills.
Of course, there is a technical element to this role too, and working alongside your Account Executives, you’ll be responsible for handling and processing mid-term adjustments, preparing and inviting renewals, report writing, preparing market presentations, analysing claims experiences and also identifying potential gaps in cover for account maximisation opportunities. Here, the Commercial Account Handlers are valued members of the “Client Team” and opportunities to meet with your clients on a regular basis will be available.
In addition to your cross-class commercial experience and your outstanding levels of customer service, you’ll ideally be able to demonstrate progress towards professional insurance qualifications. You’ll be taking responsibility for the servicing and retention of c£250K in commission and fee income, and therefore you’ll take great pride in working for and representing this superb broking organisation.
